Pack a Bag “Help a Cause”
The “Pack a Bag Make a Difference” program offers an engaging team-building experience where participants can support causes like youth, domestic victims, or the military. In this heartfelt activity, participants decorate and fill bags with essential items, whether for domestic abuse shelters, military appreciation, food banks, or school supplies. The program, led by a VolunTEAMism facilitator, can be conducted as a group activity or as an individual, flexible contribution throughout an event.

Program Overview:
- Hands & Hearts are our focus as your group will pack and give a package to a local food bank, domestic abuse center for women and families, or to “those who have served”. Before the experience, our VolunTEAMism facilitator/speaker will inspire participants to put their heart into the appreciation and well wishes cards and décor delivered with the packages. This program offers your attendees a purpose driven “Give To Win” activity that provides a heartfelt message from each participant to go with the cause of choice. Your event can be held as a Group Activity or as an Individual Quick Give program. In the Group Activity option, we will start everyone at the same time, decorating and making cards then filling their bag with the products. For the Individual Quick Give you can designate time opposite a breakfast or lunch, or throughout the day where people can just come by and participate in packing the bags.
OPTIONS:
- Group Give: Everyone participates at the same time (1 hour)
- Individual Give: Set up a “flow through” area where people can come by and participate throughout a time set by the group
- Cause of Choice: We set up 3 areas with a different cause in each area and participants can choose which room or area to go and give. (1-hour)
Pack for Domestic Abuse Shelters: This project includes a process where each individual will decorate a bag with flowers, and well wishes and then fill it with the product needed by the local shelter.
Pack for the Military: Decorate Mailer Boxes then write a card and include it with an individual appreciation note. Browse the supplies and fill them with snacks, a book or activity game, and other items as requested by the organization.
Pack for the Food Bank or Summer School Program: Enjoy a fun “can stacking” activity to organize all the products then pack your bag for the homeless full of needed food & other products. Program is available for after school take home bags for children in need as well as senior in-home care packs.
Backpack for School Project: Fill backpacks with school supplies as part of For Our City “Schools” program.
