Food “CANstruction” Design & Build

Food “CANstruction” Design & Build

In the “Food CANstruction” team-building program, teams design and build “tablescapes” using cans, cardboard, and other supplies, either individually or collaboratively as part of a larger group project. This creative exercise focuses on enhancing communication, cooperation, collaboration, and commitment, with the added benefit of donating the food used to local food banks or schools. The event includes coordination with charities, a master of ceremonies, activity staff, all necessary supplies, judging criteria, and a sound system, requiring round tables for individual teams or banquet tables for group competitions.

Program Overview:

  • The goal of this exercise is for each team to create a “tablescape” sculpture using cans, cardboard, decorations, and other supplies. Get your planning and design skills going with your team before building your display! You can have individual teams that work to complete the sculpture or have each team play a role in a larger group. The group option allows for teams to collaborate and create their part of a “larger” picture, and then all of the designs come together to create the whole. Our team will provide all support materials to make your designs come to life!

Give Back:

  • The program is designed to donate the food products used in the exercise to the local food bank or school. We work on your behalf with the charity to acquire the food products that will best serve those in need.
