Bo’s journey is a remarkable odyssey that spans continents and industries, a testament to his warm spirit. Born in Rijswijk, the Netherlands, he and his family relocated to the United States in 1960 when his father was hired by Motorola. In 1962, Scottsdale, Arizona became their new home, where Bo began his education at Yavapai Elementary School, later graduating from Coronado High School and Arizona State University’s School of Business.
Bo’s career path took him on a diverse and captivating trajectory. He ventured into the business world in West Texas, immersing himself in wholesale gas, convenience stores, and quick oil change operations. He also ventured into the co-ownership of a horseback riding business in Southern California, adding a touch of equestrian adventure to his life’s tapestry.
Throughout his journey, Bo’s dedication to excellence was evident as he meticulously ran an award-winning AAA approved automotive shop for 23 years. His Dutch and Indonesian heritage added a rich cultural dimension to his life and his work.
Expected to retire in March of this year, destiny took an unexpected turn when Bo reconnected with a high school friend, Todd Davis. This reunion led to exciting new ventures, including work with Team Play USA and their shared role as tour guides at Greenbeltbiketours.com.
